Terms of use

Ditto AI is offered free of charge by Amrit Preet Singh, Berlin. You may use it on Macs you own or control, for personal or work purposes. You decide what to record and which accounts to connect, and you're responsible for what agents do with them, so review every agent before it runs.

1. Who offers this

Ditto AI for Mac ("the app") and buildagents.pro ("the site") are offered by Amrit Preet Singh, Berlin, Germany. Full contact details are on the legal notice. These terms apply when you download or use the app or use the site.

2. The licence

  • The app is provided free of charge. There is no paid plan and no account. If that changes, paid plans will come with their own terms, shown before you pay.
  • You may install and use the app on any Mac you own or control, for personal or work purposes.
  • You may not sell, rent or redistribute the app itself, or remove its notices. Rights you have by law, such as those under §§ 69d and 69e of the German Copyright Act, are not limited by this.
  • Agents the app builds from your recordings are yours. They're files on your Mac, and you may use, change and share them.
  • The app includes third-party components, such as Python and OpenCode, each under its own licence.

3. Your recordings and your accounts

  • You decide what to record. A recording captures whatever is on your screen, which can include other people's personal data. Only record what you're entitled to process, and what you're fine sending to the AI provider you connect.
  • You decide which accounts and tools to connect. Tool servers (MCP servers) and websites are provided by others, under their own terms. The AI provider you connect bills you and processes recordings under its own terms.
  • You're responsible for what your agents do with the accounts you connect. The app shows every step, tool and permission before a run, and can hold every write as a draft for your approval. Use that until you trust an agent.

4. What the app does and doesn't promise

The app turns a recording into an agent using an AI model, and models make mistakes. There's no promise that an agent's steps are correct or complete, or that a tool server works as its author describes. Read the review before the first run, and keep the draft-first option on for anything that matters.

The app is under active development. Features can change, and some may stop working when a third-party service changes.

5. Liability

Because the app is provided free of charge, liability is limited to intent and gross negligence, as German law provides for gifts (§§ 521, 523 and 524 of the German Civil Code).

This doesn't limit liability for injury to life, body or health, liability under the Product Liability Act, or any other liability that can't be limited by law.

6. Updates

The app checks this site for updates, and only installs an update whose signature matches the key built into the app.

7. The site

The site is provided as it is. It links to other sites; their content is theirs. What the site collects is set out on the privacy page.

8. Ending use

You can stop using the app at any time by deleting it and its folder in ~/Library/Application Support/Ditto AI/. Agents you installed into Claude Code or Kiro stay in those tools' folders until you delete them there.

9. Changes to these terms

If these terms change, the new version appears on this page with a new date. Changes don't apply to anything you did before they were published.

10. Law and disputes

German law applies, without the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer, this doesn't take away the protection of the mandatory law of the country where you live.

We are not obliged, and not willing, to take part in dispute resolution before a consumer arbitration board.

11. Ditto AI Studio and YouTube

Ditto AI Studio, the tool we use to publish to our own social media accounts, uses the YouTube API Services. By using Ditto AI Studio, or connecting a YouTube channel to it, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. How Studio handles YouTube data is set out on the privacy page.
